That feeling of resting back, held by a warm hand behind your back– unapologetically receiving. A gift to yourself during the Arctic winter.
A 4-day weekend retreat in a quiet and majestic corner of Lofoten. This Cocoon is to step away from the demands of everyday life. We gather to nourish ourselves so we can return home with greater ease, pleasure and aliveness.
After two winters of gathering women for this retreat, I’ve had the heart-warming JOY witnessing when women are given the time and space to rest, receive and reconnect. Participants have shared how oh-so needed this is during the gray and dark time of year.
Warm welcome to women of varied ages, bodies, energy levels and life experiences.

WHO IS THIS RETREAT FOR?
The busy rhythm of our culture can push us up into our heads. We spend much of our days busy doing, planning, managing, and giving to our family, friends, work, etc… showing up for all our responsibilities, even when we're tired and actually reallyyy want to say no!
This can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves or drained. We’re in need of genuine rest— which can look very different for everyone.
Rather than prescribing one way to rest, I offer various practices for you to explore what helps YOU feel more at ease, connected and alive.
This is a space to come home to yourself– to explore what is true in your body right now, when the mind quietens. Through our sensations, tensions, impulses and urges… tensions spontaneously melt… Special aha! moments simply emerge… We begin to hear ourselves more clearly.
This is not a retreat where you need to fix anything or become a better version of yourself. No "trying" to change or force. There's no expectation to feel calm or joyful... although that may happen!
Remember the feeling of November?!
The Winter Cocoon is offered precisely when we tend to need a little nudge to get out of our blankets and seek warmth, connection and nourishment.
It’s an opportunity to replenish ourselves for the winter months ahead-- and perhaps leave with a little more ease, pleasure and aliveness.
My style of teaching is "feminine-form". I’m a total science and anatomy nerd and… but here we take in knowledge only to explore what is true for us, rather than following rules blindly. We explore ourselves through less force, more listening, and more honestly.
We welcome women of varied ages, bodies, energy levels and life experiences <3.

“You don’t have to keep producing or blooming to prove you are alive.
Much like nature's cycles, periods of rest, stillness, or quiet are not signs of weakness or stagnation.
Instead, what feels like a pause is often preparation.
Just like a tree in winter, the energy you gather will fuel your next spontaneous growth.
There’s a subtle magic energy in the dark time.
The deeper you root, the higher you’ll bloom”.

ABOUT VICTORIA:
Embodiment Yoga teacher, Ayurvedic feminine-form health coach, doula, massage therapist, permaculturist and chef.
The heart of her work is to guide you into deeper friendship and intimacy with your body and nature. When we know and can tune into their language and rhythms, we open ourselves to nature's inherent ability to transform. Transformation begins with deep awareness, radical honesty, and loving acceptance of what is alive in this very moment. The challenges and the ease. From here we trust and surrender to what flows from this space.
She combines various movement practices with therapeutic music, meditation and curious inquiry to guide you into your own felt-experience. She’s drawn to the more feminine, playful and freeing forms of practices and is known for her meditative voice, deep empathy, and joyful boundless energy.
When not teaching yoga or coaching, you will find her running in the mountains with Akka the wolfdog, nerding out in books or cooking a nourishing meal.
